LAYERXLAYER is the collaborative studio founded by Patrick & Leah. So far as LxL, we have made accessories, furniture and a few random objects - that is just the beginning. We approach every project as a learning experience and are more interested in discovering the solution, rather than imposing our own tastes or opinions upon the design problem.
Fancy explanations and pretty pictures are not what we do, but instead aim to create things and experiences that are useful, fun and just plain good. Because really, what is the point otherwise?
We have a tremendous amount of pride in the work that we do, and it shows. Regardless of the project type or medium, the same attention to detail should be evident. For now at least, each & every "LAYERXLAYER" branded product is Handcrafted by us. We believe that to become a better designer, one also needs to become a better maker.
If you are looking for mass-produced goods, you've come to the wrong place.
